Leading Credit Risk Solutions Group are seeking a Senior Consultant to assist with their Collections and Recovery Division. Your skills and experience are required to facilitate and contribute to the growth of the collections and recovery consulting business
Key areas of focus include: Supporting the retention of clients and growth of new clients Assisting clients with Collections and Recovery Lifecycle Consulting including: Current State Assessments that encompasses a macro review of existing collection and recovery capability to identify short, medium and long-term remediation opportunities.Bespoke management consulting across ‘best practice' collections and recovery business themes.Be an active member of the Training Academy to deliver bespoke or generic learning and development initiatives ranging from beginner to advanced.Collection, recovery scorecards and valuation models to deliver strategic intent via risk segmentation as well as decision management tools and applications.Campaign and Work Force Management collection solutions.Assist clients with Collections and Recovery technology.

Education and skills required:
Minimum of B Com or similar 3 year tertiary qualification
Credit Industry qualifications
Min 5 years' experience in both secured and unsecured collection and recovery disciplines.
Must have a Senior Management background with demonstrated high levels of achievement.
Clear evidence of building and developing high-achieving teams and organisations.
Availability to travel both nationally and abroad to client sites.
Understand the initiation and deployment of profit based collection and recovery strategies and treatment plans.
Understanding of the deployment of superior risk segmentation and supporting treatments.
Superior understanding of collection and recovery strategies.
Superior understanding of the underlying framework in a best of breed Contact Centre collection and recovery platform in terms of campaign and workforce management.
Capability to continually evaluate collection and recovery market dynamics, regulatory changes, trends and competitive activity.
Superior comprehension of the following collections and recovery operational disciplines: o Productivity standards by way of: o Optimal use of resources. o Prioritization in line with collections and recovery strategies.
Working knowledge of Regulatory frameworks applicable to the secured and unsecured collections and recovery landscape including the National Credit Act (No 34 of 2005); the Debt Collectors Act (No 114 of 1998), The Magistrates Court Act (no 32 of 1944), The High Court Act as well as The Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act (No 12 of 2004).
Capability to validate and establish domestically competitive secured and unsecured collection and recovery performance objectives.
