Our client in Johannesburg is urgently looking for a Senior DBA Architect. The successful candidate will mainly provide support and technical solutions to the deployment, support, development and pre-sales functions of the business

Requirements:
• B.Sc. IT / Computer Science or equivalent
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP 10g / 11g)
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a DBA
• Excellent experience in Oracle 10g/ 11g/ ASM/ RAC Server Software and related products
• Oracle Database Performance Tuning and Analysis experience
• Strong Windows, Solaris, Linux and/ or HPUX experience
• Experience with Dell and Sun Hardware Servers and Disk Arrays, EMC & Hitachi SAN Fabrics
• SQL, PL/SQL, disaster recovery (DR) planning and high availability, backup and recovery (RMAN) experience
