Senior Economic Development Advisor

Consultant
Our client is a boutique advisory firm who have established themselves as a leading economic development solutions company offering a full spectrum of services required for successful economic development within infrastructure and mining projects, regulatory compliance and corporate social investments.
Economic Development and B-BBEE Advisor required for an energetic, growing company operating in the energy, mining and infrastructure sectors.

Job Roles

Study applicable legislation and tender documents applicable to the business of the Company.
Develop the required ED/BEE research, models and strategies for clients.
Supervise the gathering of all data and information required for delivering on client objectives.
Conducting training on ED/BEE and preparing training documents for clients and/or their contractors.
Review Junior Advisor's work and provide required coaching to ensure quality.
Manage multiple projects and clients for delivery of objectives within the required timelines.
Develop and maintain any templates, software and other company IP that may include features that rely on external software services
Automate and optimize any processes and procedures to ensure efficient delivery of objectives
Required Qualifications

Undergraduate business-related degree.

Post-graduates and CA’s will be considered in preference.

Experience

An understanding of the principles behind empirical research, data collection and analytics, information dissemination and commercial strategy.
Ability to source data for research across a broad variety of sectors.
Strength in establishment and maintenance of client relationships.
2 – 3 years advisory or consulting experience.
Travel and Transport

Frequent local and international travel will be required and own transport is a prerequisite.

Market-related remuneration including aggressive incentive package.
