SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (MEDUPI CABLING PROJECT) (3 year contract) A vacancy exists in the Energy & Resources Sector for a Senior Electrical Engineer to commence duties at Medupi Site office based in Lephalale, as soon as possible. Accommodation will be provided for. Main responsibilities • Overseeing projects phases from inception to close out. • Be responsible for technical management of electrical designs on the project. • Preparation of electrical designs and specifications. • Liaison with project team Minimum qualifications, skills and experience • BSc: Engineering degree or equivalent. • Professional Registration with ECSA. • Minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience, either as a consulting engineer, or in a similar projects environment • Experience in the design and implementation of electrical installations for industrial and thermal power plant applications is imperative • Systems design and specification of industrial MV/LV distribution installations, motor control centres, drives, control systems and cable racking. • A working knowledge of ESKOM power station environment would be an added advantage • Construction experience is a must.
