My client is the leading provider of hosted call center technology in SA providing customers with pay-per use access to their cloud based call center technology platform. Well presented, excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans. Own vehicle and driver's license essential.

The candidate must have a good understanding of voice technology in call centers
Only candidates with previous experience working IP infrastructure need apply (Non-negotiable)
2-5 years experience required
Collab (One Contact) experience is a plus
Must be able to work on a telephony system/platform
Matric
CCNA
MCSE
SQL
Previous experience in a similar role advantageous

Duties include:

-Administration of a hosted telephony platform
-Help desk support to clients via telephone and team viewer
-Trouble shooting client issue with 3rd party vendors including escalation
Physical implementation of hardware and software at client sites
After hours standby for support
Handle backup schedules and monitor success
Monitor support queues & server system metrics for outages and / or performance concerns
Working with business partners to gather requirements for both major and minor system changes/enhancements and migration of these enhancements into test and production environments
In addition, typical duties include system maintenance including documentation, standard operating procedures and vendor patches that must be maintained in order to ensure server system integrity
In addition to the above, applicants for this position will be part of a technical support team support over 2000+ call center end business users in 40+ call center locations
