- The ability to define, investigate and analyze engineering problems in your field of engineering
- The ability to design or develop conceptual solutions to engineering problems
- The ability to apply fundamental engineering knowledge to conceptualized engineering problems
- The ability to timelessly detail and specify solutions (drawings, reports etc.) to engineering problems
- The ability to recognize and address the reasonably foreseeable social, cultural and environmental effects of complex engineering activities
- The ability to conduct engineering and work-related activities ethically
- Excellent knowledge of Reinforced Concrete Design, Structural Steel Design, design of Water Retaining Concrete Structures, including Concrete Reservoirs 5 Ml to 30 Ml in post tensioned concrete
- Manage and mentor junior engineers, detailers and draughts men, schedule and check their work to ensure it is issued timeously and in compliance to all plans and specifications

Requirements for this Senior Engineer job in Centurion, South Africa:
- BEng (Civil) or BTech(Civil), registered with ECSA as a Professional
- Minimum 10 years’ design experience in structural engineering on Commercial, Industrial and water retaining structures
- Design compliance standards related legal knowledge
- Software: Prokon, Drafting and detailing software
- Quality Management: ISO 9000 compliance
- Language proficiency: Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Travel: Occasional travel to site, intercontinental and internationally
