A well-established Civil Construction company in the Cape Town area is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team.

Successful candidates must have:

Relevant Construction related tertiary qualification (i.e. National Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering)
10 years on site experience - Roads and Earthworks (6 years within an Estimating environment)
Advanced computer skills (particularly in Excel)
Experience/knowledge of CCS and other Microsoft programs
Exposure to tender processes from pricing, processing, to post tender activities
Ability to identify future tenders through networking, media, industry, bulletins and other civil data
Good negotiation skills (i.e. to negotiate with suppliers)
Competent in estimating project production rates
Strong knowledge of Contract Specifications
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Ability to pay attention to detail
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team when necessary

Experience / knowledge of CCS
Strong knowledge of contract law
Measurement Experience
