Black Pen Immigration is looking for a Senior Immigration Consultant to join our team.

Black Pen Immigration is an innovative and dynamic immigration consultancy based in the heart of Cape Town. Our team from South Africa and Germany assists a wide range of clients including individuals and multinational enterprises with personal and business immigration solutions.

You’re perfect for this position if you:

• You have at 3 years work experience in South African immigration law
• You are extremely driven and sales orientated
• Have an excellent command of the English language and good writing skills
• Have an excellent phone manner and the ability to engage professionally with international clients
• Are comfortable working in a high-pressure environment and answering a high volume of queries
• Are organised and have good time management skills
• Are target-driven
• Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Are a team-player
• Are a proven self-starter with good commercial awareness
• Are computer literate, particularly in MS Excel, Word and Outlook

Your roles and responsibilities

Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:
- provide immigration advise to corporate and individual clients,
- prepare quotes, guidance and assistance during the immigration preparation process,
- work within strict timelines and communicate regularly with authorities, third parties and clients,
- check and oversee the completion of all relevant visa documentation provided by client and possibly the employer; ensure validity of documentation, provide regular feedback to clients, provide advice and assistance to the Human Resources team of the relevant employer,
- follow up with clients, third parties and authorities,
- keep up to date with regards to current and future legislation relevant to the immigration environment,
- accompany client for the submission of applications, if submitted in Cape Town.

In addition, you will be working closely with our consultants and may be required to assist on individual client projects as and when your help is needed.
