Senior Java Developer / Team Lead is urgently needed for a large media company based in Johannesburg Northern suburbs. This company is looking for an individual from a similar industry background who wants to work with latest technologies.

The ideal person will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of various internal/online applications. You will also be required to manage and support various software development teams as required.

Requirements for this position:
• At least 7 years’ experience building front-end, middleware and back-end systems
• Strong knowledge of Java
• Experience with JSON, XML and XSL
• Solid experience in SOA, BPM and ESB
• Must have experience using Spring Framework as well as Tomcat, Apache, Jenkins, Selenium, Maven, JBehave and Puppet
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) / Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and RDBMS (MySQL and SQL)
• Hold a BSc Computer Science Degree or equivalent
