DVT is looking for an Senior Java software developer/engineer to join our dynamic technology focused teams. You will be in one of our most Challenging and Rewarding projects within the Financial sector. Key Outputs:

• Develop high quality Java application software.
• Assist with the production of technical specifications and designs
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Technical

• 5 – 9 years + experience in JAVA EE (Tech stack may differ)
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework
• (JSF/Primefaces, AngularJS, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
• AngularJs (Beneficial) 
• Experience with XML/XSD/JAXB and Web Services (Soap & Rest).
• Experience in the Spring Framework, EJB3
• Excellent knowledge of ORM technologies (JPA, Hibernate)
• Solid working knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and Data Models
