Senior level Java Developer required for large financial institute based in JHB able to work with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates need strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills and detailed knowledge of best practice system design patterns and architectural framework.

You must have at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role, a computer Science degree / Diploma
Good technical knowledge of the following:
• Application Servers – Tomcat, Jboss
• Database experience – MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server
• Integration / middle tier integration tools – JCAPS, Websphere MQ, JBossESB
• Soap, XML-RPC Web services and JSF (2.0)
• Knowledge of JPA, AOP and Hibernate
• Experience working in Linux environments.
