Looking for a Senior Leisure Consultant for Travel Company

Education, knowledge and experience:
Matric and relevant travel qualifications
Fare and ticketing basic course
Amadeus – full course
Minimum 3 years as Senior Travel Consultant (Corporate or Leisure)
Excellent product and geographical knowledge
Knowledge of inter-airline policies and endorsement procedures
Understanding and ability to interpret, explain and follow fare rules
Full understanding of BSP
Fully conversant with preferred partners frequent flyer programmes
Full understanding of forex, insurance and use of fare finder/best fare on the day
Full understanding and use of Amadeus, SAM and CRM

Ability to distinguish a misquote by an airline or colleague
Ensure that all relevant details are obtained from clients
Create all the necessary entries in Amadeus avoiding any fictitious information
Book air travel with various airlines bearing in mind our company’s relationship with preferred carriers
Book car hire, hotel accommodation and travel packages
Provide clients with information with regard to travel Insurance
Manage and control your own queue in Amadeus
Arrange collection and delivery of travel documentation
Provide clients with travel itineraries
Arrange visas on request and provide relevant information
Prepare and process quote requests

Salary: R17 000 ctc
