Our client based in Johannesburg, is looking for a Project Accounts Manager to join the team.

Requirements:

- Matric (Grade 12 )
- Good computer knowledge - MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Formal underwriting training would be a plus
- Underwriting Risk Assessment Diploma (URAD) including Financial Risk Assessment will be beneficial
- Must have at least 6 years life underwriting experience
- Involement with automated underwriting system would be an advantage
- Substandard case exposure is a must

Responsibilities:

- Underwriting of substandard cases which fall outside the automated underwriting system
- Manage additional information received.
- Communication in terms of ensuring, that advisor is informed and provide assistance in order to finalise quote.
- Ensuring all underwriting is performed on the system.
- Liaise with Medical Officers as and when is necessary (Ensuring that ECGT and PFTS are interpret by a CMO)
- Financial underwriting of cases
- Referral to reassures
- Additional information to be telephonically obtained (tele-underwriting)
- When necessary liaise with Laboratories and any other third party service providers
