SUMMARY

Our client, JSE listed in the telco/digital space has an opportunity for a DevOps manager to join their organization to drive efficiency, innovation and strategic alignment. You will own the DevOps lifecycle whilst driving technology initiates to contribute towards he organizations success

RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Management
Strategic Formation and Implementations
Policies and Procedures Development, Budgeting
Client relationships and stakeholder engagements
In-depth knowledge of DevOps best practices, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies
Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
Solid experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Expertise in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and integrating security into the DevOps lifecycle
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
Demonstrated success in leading and managing DevOps teams in complex, enterprise-level environments
Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
Solid experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
