R764 000 per annum including 13th cheque, Car Allow, Pension, Medical Aid. Giant in the Healthcare industry has a vacancy for a Senior Manager in their Growth & Distribution channel.

Requirements:
Grade 12
3 yr diploma/degree in Marketing, Sales, Management, etc.
Must be an accredited Broker
FAIS accredited
RE1 and RE5 exams successfully completed
FAIS fit and proper requirement to qualify as Key Individual
7 years applicable experience in sales, marketing, client relations and/or public relations in a Healthcare and/or cross selling environment of which 3 yrs must be at management level with sub-ordinates
Must possess knowledge of the Medical Schemes Act and Industry
Computer literate
Own transport and drivers
Above average verbal and written communication skills
Presentation and negotiation skills

Functions:
• Establish a sales strategy to ensure effective growth in membership through the following actions:
- Develop a national sales strategy that supports the client’s strategic plan;
- Set national sales objectives per region and implement the strategy to achieve the set goals;
- Develop a relationship management strategy with brokers, healthcare consultants and other players in the healthcare industry;
- Initiate and develop sales projects as well as a broker communication and promotional plan; and
- Develop, expand and maintain the distribution channel.
• Ensure adequate budgeting for planned actions and initiatives, and manage expenses to reach the set portfolio objectives.
• Liaise with key role players and stakeholders within identified markets and the industry, to promote Strata Healthcare and clients with a view to expanding business and to establish long-term relationships.
• Liaise on internal level on plans, actions and ad hoc projects to ensure integration with those of other divisions.
• Continuous liaison with regulatory bodies as well as with union representatives.
• Coordinate the implementation of sales plans and sales actions within identified market segments.
• Coordinate the national sales strategy per region to ensure the achievement of set targets.
• Evaluate projects, actions and resources to ensure that these will support the successful achievement of goals.
• Negotiate intermediary agreements with brokers, financial advisors and healthcare consultants.
• Negotiate underwriting agreements with new corporate clients and groupings of brokers.
• Exercise control over contracted broker network to ensure that legal requirements are met.
• Lead meetings and ensure that role players understand and support objectives.
• Monitor aspects which may influence the successful execution of the portfolio’s plans and actions.
• Manage the portfolio’s actions, staff and resources.
• Lead the team by means of motivation, regular communication and feedback; follow up on objectives and actions and provide opportunities for development of skills.
