Ship repair industry professionals seek a seasoned administrator/supervisor with previous QA/QC experience in the quality department.

Job Purpose:-
Responsible for organisation and operation of the Quality Department and QC personnel in the Ship Repair Division ensuring that the companies ISO 9001 Quality Management System are implemented and maintained for all work undertaken by the division and sub-contractors that may carry out work for the division.

Key Performance Areas:-
Supervise QC department
Provide leadership and instruction to QA/QC team
Prepare QA/QC Plans for projects
Coordinate and supervise all visual, dimensional, and testing inspections
Ensure work is coordinated amongst other departments
Coordinate inspections, testing required for the projects and sub-contractor activities
Work closely and communicate with Project Managers and client field inspectors
Maintain quality records, project documentation, including final project data book and manage nonconforming products.

Entry Requirements:-
3 + years QA/QC experience in the same or similar marine environment
Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems
Excellent verbal and written skills in order to convey instructions or interpretations to other departments and customers
Computer literate in Microsoft Office
