Our client a leader in pneumatic and hydraulic automation systems seeks a Senior Project Engineer to join their engineering team in Boksburg.

Minimum requirements:
* Must have a BEng Degree (Mechanical)
* 5-10 years experience in mechanical engineering and projects especially within hydraulics or pneumatic industry
* Experience in hydraulic/pneumatic designs is a must! Please do ensure your CV makes mention of this as you will be overlooked if it doesn't
* Profieciency in AutoCAD or Inventor essential
* Must be willing to travel
* Must be able to and willing to mentor junior engineers

Duties:
* Design custom solutions for customer requirements to Engineering standards.
* Interpret engineering drawings, sketches or diagrams.
* Plan the flow of work or materials to maximize efficiency
* Modify equipment or processes to improve resource cost efficiency.
* Prepare quotations for customers.
* Oversee and inspect production processes.
* Analyse, estimate, and report production costs.
* Compile operational data to develop cost or time estimates, schedules and specifications.
* Monitor and control inventory.
* Oversee installation of equipment.
* Commission equipment when required.
* Deliver projects in time and on budget.
* Problem Solving and handling of customer queries.
