One of our clients based in Johannesburg is looking for an ECSA accredited Professional Engineer for Senior Process Engineer position. The successful incumbent will be responsible for process engineering and discipline project design activities relating to concept (OME), pre-feasibility (PCE), bankable feasibility (CBE), EPCM and various turnkey process projects. Serious applicants must meet the following inherent requirements:

Must have a minimum qualification of a BSc (Eng)/ BTech in Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering plus ECSA accreditation as a Professional Engineer.
Plus 8 -10 years’ experience in Gold, Base Metals Sulphides (Cu, Pb, Zn, Ag and Ni), Platinum Group Metals, Phosphates, Coal and Iron Ore.
Must have solid experience in the analysis of plant performance data, mineralogical data and ore characterisation.
Must have extensive experience in the development and managing of testwork programmes including laboratory and pilot plant campaigns.
Extensive experience in the managing of iron ore testwork programmes especially magnetic separation techniques and flowsheet
