Senior Project manager - Banking

12 month contract

Key Accountabilities/ Role Description

• Run a large scale project across multiple divisions and teams to ensure compliance deadlines are met
• Ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery
• Provide a holistic view of the overall project to the organization and all stakeholders
• Ensure success criteria defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage to expected project outcomes
• Keep all stakeholders (internal & external) engaged in the project, aligned on expected outcomes and informed
• Proactively communicate the project’s progress on an on-going basis, ensuring transparency throughout project lifecycle.
• Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions

Primary Skills

• 6+ years of relevant experience in project or program management
• Run previous projects in Banking Authentications
• Run projects in the Retail and Corporate Investment areas of Banking
• Experience with compliance projects
• Experience in driving large scale change efforts
• Experience with matrix management of cross-functional processes and teams
• Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries desired
• Previous consultancy experience & strong integration knowledge of multiple banking solutions

• Attitude and stamina required to deliver in a challenging environment
• Bright, ability to rapidly pick-up new technologies, propositions and business areas & has worked within a tier 1 Consultancy house for a
minimum of 3 years

Educational Qualifications
• Graduate/Post graduate in preferably business streams (BComm/MBA Finance/CA/)
• PMP in Project management certified or equivalent
