Senior Quality System Analyst – manufacturing/engineering- based in Linbro Park
Main Purpose:
• Responsible for supporting and divulging the culture, tools and methodology related to the Quality Management System (QMS), including but not limited to ISO 9001 requirements and directives.
• Plan, deploy, direct, and integrate business processes under the Quality Management System for the company, to ensure the smooth operation and compliance to international standards and company procedures and processes.
• Coordinate and provide guidance on root cause analysis and other investigative techniques, including statistical analysis.
• Coordinate and provide guidance on continuous improvement and other performance enhancement techniques, such as 6Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, etc.
Duties & Responsibilites:
• Coordinate the Quality Management System implementation and maintenance, including the document control systems, ensuring system updates and controls are properly reviewed and implemented.
• Plan and execute Quality Programs for the Group companies.
• Perform internal audits. Provide support for external audits.
• Analyse business processes to assure conformity to the Quality Management System requirements and identify opportunities for improvement throughout the business processes.
• Coordinate and support root cause analysis for identified non-conformances or issues.
• Participate and guide continuous improvement initiatives, using the appropriate techniques (6Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, DOE, etc.)
• Monitor business best practices and identify trends and business ambient changes, advising on associated business risks and opportunities
• Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure that the Quality Management System meets the business requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality related policies, procedures, and associated training plans.
• Document designed processes and procedures, providing training and support for the company areas with varying levels of knowledge and competence
• Guide on preparing and revising documents including procedures, forms, plans and reports in accordance to quality system requirements.
• Interface with headquarters to align and update the system based on history and best practices.
• Train and support business personnel on the usage and administration of Quality Management System tools, procedures and documentation.
• Participate on testing and deployment of enhancements and upgrades of business processes and including additional development of IT or equivalent tools.
• Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
• Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure services.
• Manage and ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System
• Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, department heads, and other employees regarding pertinent Quality System activities.
• Manage operational costs.
• Provide guidance to members of the team.
• Undertake project work related to any strategic plan.
• Assist with special projects as necessary.
• Drive continuous improvement.
Working Conditions:
• Mainly office based and required to travel.
• Is subject to work beyond working hours should the need arise
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Matric, MCSE, A+, N+
• 5+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems
• Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001 standard, preferably ISO 9001:2015 is a mandatory requirement
• Advanced knowledge of root cause analysis and other investigative and improvement techniques, including statistics is important
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of software packages (ERP, WMS, BI)
