About the job:

• Quantity Surveying functions including monthly valuations, variations, claims & entitlements, final accounts
• Providing information to site management for compilation of reports, including monthly cost report
• Liaising with relevant Employer Consultants
• Contracting administration and reporting compliance with company procedures
• Managing sub-contractor valuations, payments and final accounting
• Coaching & mentoring of junior quantity surveying resources

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying
• At least 7-10 years relevant building industry experience
• Knowledge of the following: Contract agreements (FIDIC, JBCC, NEC), Estimating & pricing of variations, Sub-contract agreements, Contract financial reports & budgeting, Monthly certificates, claims, & final accounting, Conformance to company policies/systems
• Proficiency in the use of CCS Candy or similar construction costing systems
