I am now in search of a Senior Receptionist/ Front Office Relief Manager for this 5 star Game Lodge in KZNKEY OUTPUTS:Distribution of occupancy forecastsCommunication of any updates on day sheets and reservationsAccurate day sheets compiled by reception including lodges guests have travelled from or travelling to in their itineraryEnsure the satelite camp manager's are always up to date with day sheets, occupancy forecasts etc.Double check room allocations, ensuring the appropriate rooms are allocated to the appropriate guests i.e. agent show time best room etc.Budget lines: Printing and Stationary, Rental Office Equipment, Postage & Courier,Ensure telephones and radios are answered timeously and professionallyMaintain QB Front Office systemsAll lodge banking is done and emailed frequently to financeEnsure petty cash is done and balanced twice a month and sent to financeEnsure the lodge is stocked with the required printing and stationary requiredManage weekly finance meetingEnsure gratuities balance and are allocated to the correct staff on the spreadsheet.Ensure all house & staff accounts are closed off correctly at month end and are inputted on the spreadsheet and balance.Collation and resolution of general ledger queriesTimeous and accurate accounting information to Phinda CentralAccurate compilation of guest feedback Massage TherapistAssisting with guest check outs / ins if requiredStaff Take time for staff and their queriesProcessing of all new employee information: medical aid, provident fund etc.Processing of all provident fund, death benefit and departing staff formsEnsure your staff are in uniformMaintain staff register for your teamAssist in compilation of annual uniform orderSKILLS REQUIRED:Communication skills - with guests and fellow staff membersStandard of your work must exceed the standard of the lodgeGood organisational abilityLateral thinking abilityInitiativeMust adhere to World Class Hospitality and Service StandardsProfessional, courteous, hospitable to guestsMust be able to cope under pressure to meet guests needsMust be able to lead people and correct things when neededHonest, have good integrity, proactive and driven person who has career ambitionsKNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:HospitalityEnvironmentThe surrounding communitiesThe countryCompany Knowledge (&BEYOND as well as Foundation)QuickBooks knowledgePREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Experience in the service industry especially in dealing with guests and staffPrevious reception experience an advantageIf this sounds like an opportunity you are ready for, and you have the necessary skills and experience and ready to be apart of this amazing team, I would love to hear from you.
