Senior Security Engineer - Sandton
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Security Engineer to deliver a world class service to our partners and end users. This is a highly technical, hands-on role in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The candidate will need to have a good mixture of deep technical know-how as well as a background in information security concepts and project management.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
Core Skill requirements
Knowledge transfer/Sharing to team members
Stay up to date on technology trends related to our products
Stay up to date on focus product updates, new feature releases, future roadmaps etc.
Knowledge transfer to partners (informal training)
Comparison of our products against competing products
Engage with Vendor technical resources on pre- and post-sale opportunities
Use of our internal ERP system to track and manage all projects and customer engagements
Ability to build and LAB products to understand and test feature sets
Pre-Sales Technical abilities
Ability to provide high level and low level solution designs
Ability to whiteboard solution to customer and partners
Be able to present (Powerpoint) to customers and partners
Be able to demonstrate product features to customers and partners
Assist with Tender technical documentation and write-ups
Configure and install Proof of Concept solutions
Report on POC's to customers and partners
Create bill of materials for Sales team to process
Post-Sales Support and Operations
Level2 support to customers and partners
Guide team members on 1st line support
Design and implement customer solution
Understanding of vendor support and RMA processes
Level2 escalations on managed services
Maintain and configure core infrastructure
Assist Managed customer services and query escalations
Fortinet NSE 4
1x NSE 5 (ideally)
Must have the following Product Knowledge:

Imperva / F5
F5 / Kemp
HP / Aruba / Ruckus / Cisco
Ironport / Forcepoint / Mimecast

Salary: R 400 000 - R 600 000 CTC (benefits included)
