Our client, a large engineering firm, is looking for a Senior Signal Engineer for a vacancy in Durban. Candidate will be responsible for conducting major assignments in the Electrical Engineering Field. Planning, organising and controlling of complex projects and making recommendations on alternate solutions to engineering problems the candidate may head an Engineering Department (depending on experience). Candidate must have a B.Tech/B. Eng/BSc Eng in Electrical Engineering and be registered with ECSA as a Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech. Applicants must have at least 10 years post qualification experience in the following: Approval of signalling designs, Interpretation of signalling rules and principles, Design and testing of signalling systems, Maintenance of signalling systems, Railway infrastructure, Railbound telecommunication systems.
