Qualification:

Matric

Relevant Tertiary qualification, such as: (BEng (Elec), BSc (Comp Sci) or BTech (Software Development), from Universities such as: UCT, NMMU, Stellenbosch University, Witwatersrand, North-West University, University of Pretoria, the University of KwaZulu-Natal


Skills & Experience:

4 -6 years’ experience programming with core Java

Experience in:

Java

HTML/CSS, JavaScript

Experience with SQL and RDBMS database concepts and design

Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL or MS SQL

Experience with Java IDEs such as Eclipse and/or NetBeans

Exposure to Object Relational Mapping (e.g. Hibernate, EJB3)

Exposure to Java servlet containers (e.g. Tomcat, Jetty)


Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a BEng Degree as you will enter the role as a Software Engineer. You will be designing and developing high-quality Java applications alongside fellow Software Engineers at the Cape Town offices.
