SUMMARY:
This Cape Town based company with global clients are looking for a Senior Software Engineer. They are leaders in their industry which makes them experts in their field.
The ideal candidate will provide full technical leadership in the development of software systems and applications, including enhancements and new products.

DESCRIPTION:

The Client provides a Standard Work Environment

The majority of your time will be spent on PC (Phys. Req.)

Traveling might be required (domestic or international)

Understand and adhere to the Company’s code of ethics and global information security.

You will be required to Independently do Java design, develop, test and deliver high quality software/solutions.

You will provide direct estimates, such as time, percentage of project completion, etc. to lead and manage.

You will research and resolve all reported systems software problems efficiently, timeously and accurately while adhering to all internal standards and procedures.

You will coordinate the technical work of a small project team. This includes planning and scheduling tasks for projects and for individuals in your team.

Maintaining detailed knowledge of software, underlying network and system software, and dependencies.

Provide guidance and expertise to the development organization.

Perform other/ad hoc duties as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant IT qualification advantage

Minimum 5 years software development experience
