ROLE DESCRIPTION:
• Design and implementation of bespoke on-premise and cloud-based software solutions for a Linked Investment Service Provider platform
• Mentoring, code reviews and team leadership
• Technology selection and objective proof-of-concept evaluation
• Developing robust integration between CRM, Online Investor Portal, Data Warehouse and a Product Administration System.
• Designing and improving processes related to Dev Ops, Quality Assurance, Build, Deployments and Support
• Participation in sprint planning, estimation and requirements validation
• Technical documentation related to architecture, database design, process and implementation patterns
• Monitor progress from inception to completion
• Working with contractors and external vendors with regard to systems integration
DUTIES AND DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Effectively collaborate with business, analysts and marketing teams
• Excellent written communication and documenting skills
• Ability to track and categorize competing priorities, and optimize accordingly
• Monitor non-project activities (dev ops, support, deployment and roll-out)
• Basic reporting, project tracking and risk escalation
• Data analysis and rapid problem diagnosis
• Release management, issue filtering and deployment support
• Ad-hoc application support
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Experience working in a financial systems environment is beneficial
• Team leadership experience in an enterprise environment
• Bachelor’s Degree related to engineering or computer science preferred
• Experience in the application of project management principles, practices and disciplines
