My client is based in Melrose Arch and is looking for a Senior SQL Developer to join their team.  They need someone who is excited about learning new technologies and applying the best of breed technology to provide systems which deliver operational efficiency. You will be responsible for the following:

• Development, implementation and support of the company databases
• Designing databases for in-house applications
• Creating and maintaining stored procedures, functions and triggers for the in-house applications
• Designing and develop complex SSIS packages
• Performance Tuning
• Reviewing database schema, objects and data scripts written by others and provide feedback
• Providing support for production systems, including on-call support, when required

Skills and Experience required:

• 5 years + SQL Server experience
• Extensive knowledge of T-SQL
• Extensive knowledge of Database Design and development
• Extensive experience with SSIS is essential
• Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
• Create complex queries on large data sets for manipulation
• Experience in SSRS, data driven subscriptions, sub reports, reporting model
• Knowledge of the MDX query language
• Knowledge of CLR(C#) SQL functions advantages
• SSAS design and implementation advantages
• Enjoy maintaining/enhancing code to meet changing customer/industry needs
• Ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
