The Senior Stores Controller role is responsible to support the Lift II Project in terms of Materials Management, using best practices and materials control systems.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Comply with the Health & Safety Act, legal liability 2.6.1and 2.13.12(a)
• Set work standards / procedures
• Provide, operate and manage a professional warehouse support system to the project
• Ensure knowledge transfer and development of sub-ordinates
• Efficient stock control based on best practices for projects
• Liaise with internal and external clients
• Effective Materials Management
• Effective administration of necessary business systems
• Good client relations
• Good employee relations
• Support the overall Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) of the project and business

• Knowledge of the Safety and Health in the warehouse environment
• Management Level: Logistics and Process Knowledge

Qualifications & Experience
• Materials Management/Supply Chain Management Diploma
• Valid driver’s license
• Computer Literate for role - SAP
• ERP experience in Materials Management
• 3 -5 years warehouse management experience in a project environment
