SUMMARY

Our Client in the Professional Services industry has an opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer to bring his / her extensive knowledge and exposure to deployment and support of cloud technology platforms, virtualization and networking technologies including server and desktop operating systems to this team. You will also have an opportunity to mentor and guide IT support staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Some of the Key Focus areas will be:
Strategy and Planning: Stakeholder Management (Defining Business requirements and systems goals)
Design and deploy new solutions and enhancements
Vendor and Contractor engagements
Performing server and security Audits, system backup procedures
Integration of information systems, including cloud, database, backup servers and their associated software into enterprise systems
Create and maintain documentation
Co0ordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new information systems
Monitoring System Performance

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

8 Years of Systems Engineering +Tertiary qualification in IT (Computer Science or Engineering)
Proven experience in overseeing the design, development and implementation of information systems and networks including security principles and general software management.
Mastery of MO365 with strong skills in Azure cloud computing, VMWare and Veem
Device Management tools (SCCM / AutoPilot)
