Purpose of the Job:

Retail Company seeking Senior Technical Support person with wide range of IT skills. If you do not meet the minimum requirements, you cannot be considered. Position available immediately. Hours are Mon – Fri 8 to 5pm, and only ½ day Saturday if ever required.

Main Functions:

• Database Administrator.
• Server Administrator.
• Assisting Level 1 Support staff.
• POS support.
• Provide end-user technical desk-side support (installation, configuration, problem identification and resolution) for Microsoft products and all business software.
• To diagnose and resolve hardware related issues on Desktops, Laptops, Servers and other hardware (On site, remote, telephonically).
• Maintain a shared knowledge base and engage in knowledge transfer.
• Assist with the investigation of new technology, hardware and software in the retail industry.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirement:

• Matric and multiple IT qualifications.
• 10 years IT experience.
• Experience in retail environments.
• Solid Networking experience.
• Windows Server & virtualization experience.
• Backup and DR exposure.
• Microsoft SQL Server Qualification and Experience.
• Strong Excel Skills.
• Passion for working with data.
• Experience in managing antivirus software.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have patience.
