A Leading firm of Consulting Engineers has a vacancy for a Senior Traffic and Transportation Engineer to be based in Durban. Minimum Qualifications, skills and experience: • B.Sc (Civil) Eng and/or Masters qualification in Transportation • Pr Eng (ECSA) • Minimum 10 years experience in Civil Engineering and Traffic & Transportation Engineering • Working experience with Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning tools such as SIDRA, TRANSYT, VISSUM, SATURN, EMME, etc. • Secondary skills in ITS applications • Excellent Report Writing experience (with MS Office suite of programs) • Excellent Project Leadership skills • Driver's license Key Responsibility Areas: • Business development and client liaison • Project- and technical leadership in Traffic- and Transportation Engineering • Feasibility studies, Transport Master Planning, Traffic Impact Studies, etc. • Mentoring of junior technical staff
