Senior Transport Manager

We are urgently recruiting for a seasoned Transport Manager to be responsible for ensuring optimization and roadworthiness of the fleet. Additionally, you will assume the managerial and administrative duties of the overall Automotive Fleet, as well as the maintenance of the fleet.

Desired Skills & Experience
• Matric and a Degree in Logistics, Transportation Management or related
• 5-6 years experience within a transport / logistics management environment in a similar role
• Fully Computer literate in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• General knowledge of distribution systems and processes
• Experience in fleet management & maintenance or equivalent (non negotiable)
• Track record is planning and forecasting is crucial
• Technical vehicle knowledge and/or experience will be an advantage
• Knowledge and/or experience with SAP preferable
• Fluent in English and at least one African Language
• A valid driver's license
