Senior Water Engineer (Water and Drainage)
A global leading engineering consultancy with over 65 years’ experience specialising within the Civil Engineering sector is seeking to employ a Senior Water Engineer with Water and Drainage experience to be based in Pretoria. The successful candidate should be registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.)
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a BEng or B-Tech Degree in Civil Engineering. A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage
Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer/Professional Technologist
Must have 8 – 12 years’ post- qualification experience in drainage/waste/ wastewater projects as well as site management in a design office environment
Must have practical knowledge of hydrological and hydraulic principles
Must be proficient in CAD, GIS and other design and analysis software
Must have BIM experience
Must have project management and administration experience
Must be able to manage all risks involved in the project and insure successful results
Must have excellent technical report writing skills
Must be able to manage a team
