ClickMe, a digital marketing affiliate of National Debt Advisors based in Cape Town, is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated (SEO) Online Content Writer for their website. The successful candidate would have experience and skills in digital content creation, writing and copy, and editing for web use. Well-researched and SEO-optimised marketing content collateral free of grammatical and spelling errors is essential. We want someone who is energetic, assertive and able to rise above challenges. The writer will use their initiative to bring an innovative and passionate approach to produce digital content that motivates, influences and persuades readers.

Role:

• Sourcing newsworthy content that resonates with our audience
• Quick turn-around on sourcing, researching and writing engaging content for a variety of topics
• Brainstorming and writing viral content including original feature articles
• Planning, researching, writing, reviewing and editing copy for digital content
• Keeping abreast of trends to develop fresh new ideas by bench-marking competitors
• Ability to deliver quality content swiftly to meet deadlines
• Able to work independently and within a team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ content writing experience
• Degree or diploma relevant to the field
• Must have produced written content within the last year
• Experience developing and implementing content strategy according to marketing targets
• Ability to understand various language styles appealing to different audiences
• Experience writing for online platforms (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Creative yet conceptual content production approach
• Ability to accommodate fast-paced digital space needs
• Innovative attitude to generate ideas for content creation
• Comprehensive knowledge of the digital landscape
• Keyword and content optimisation
• Strong research skills
• Fluent in English; written and spoken
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, predominantly Microsoft Word and Power Point

Additional requirements:

• WordPress experience
• Content Management Systems (CMS) experience
• Basic SEO (Search Engine Optimization) knowledge
