The Opportunity:

Clarion Events is currently undergoing the process of revamping their digital presence online across all business units globally. Clarion Events can trace its roots back to 1947 and takes great pride in being one of the oldest independent event organizers in the UK.

More recently the firm has grown as a business and developed an international portfolio of brands and now has interests in a number of global vertical industries. The perfect candidate will have the opportunity to transform the way the business uses analytical and behavioural data to increase insight and ROI across various events within the business.

The Candidate:

Clarion Events is looking for PPC Manager to manage the SEO strategy and implementation for the group as well as client campaigns on Pay Per Click Platforms such as Google, YouTube & Facebook. You will be joining a small team working with the marketing managers across the group to run and optimize their campaigns. Candidate will gain full understanding of paid media ad products and will be expected to obtain the Google Adwords Certifications in due time.


Requirements Include:

Proven SEO experience (1+years).
Proven PPC experience (2+ years).
Degree/Diploma ( Advantageous).
Strong written and verbal communication.
Working proficiency in Excel.
Pride in output, keen eye for detail, driven to innovate in the online media space.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Setup Campaigns.
Optimise & Manage Campaigns.
Reporting on key metrics, analysing and interpreting trends and providing actionable insights based on available analytics data.
Analysing the effect of different online and offline channels on each other and developing and implementing innovative strategies for improvement and growth.
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on a newly developed platform.
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
Ability to work across multiple industries and sectors.
Ability to provide training and support to team members.
Define and implement search marketing strategies and activities.
