Server Specialist required in Sandton
 
Requirements:

• A+ Certification or 3 years’ experience supporting Lenovo desktops and laptops
• MCP Certification or 5 years’ experience in an IT help desk environment
• Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
• Strong knowledge of Windows XP/ 7 / 8 / 8.1
• Understanding of web based concepts and technologies
• Experience with Active Directory, Hosted Microsoft Exchange, DNS/DHCP
• Solve Hardware Problems, Computer Upgrades, Networking Setup/Diagnoses, Software Problems, PC specific Issues/Troubleshooting

• Must have experience with below:
  
  • Lync Server
  • HP Servers
  • SharePoint
  • Exchange Servers
  • SQL Server
  • Windows Server 2012
• Undertake Virus/Spyware Removal/Detection
• Ability to use, teach & troubleshoot Microsoft XP Pro operating systems, Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio and Word)
• Ability to understand and work in strict compliance with documented procedures.
• Ability to supervise a small team of helpdesk analysts and balance workloads
• Must be able to work additional hours if needed and to self-manage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive customer service and customer-friendly attitude
• Valid code 8 driver’s license
