Service Delivery Manager.
Contract: 3 months. Exp: 10+ years. Start: Immediate. Rate: R450 p.h
Service delivery managers that work with IT Management in high level technical infrastructure planning, design and optimization within the enterprise as well as with client facing systems.
Responsibilities:
• Mentor and supervise Delivery Manager team to ensure work is completed as scheduled
• Collaborate with Practice Areas to understand and help develop requirements
• Ensure Change Management processes and procedures are being followed
• Ensure that Service Delivery Team provides optimal service levels to internal stakeholders and their customers by:
• Ensuring the implementation of SDLC across IT team and by Practice Area.
• Working with SME’s for making decisions for the different products implemented in the project.
• Managing IT risks in conjunction with the Practice Areas (identifies IT risks, identifies required mitigation plans and follows up on implementation of plans).
• Acting as a communication channel between Practice Areas (Client requirements, constraints, risks, etc.) and the IT team to insure that IT priorities are in line with Practice Area priorities.
• Ensuring application areas have had an opportunity to test and address any issues.
• Interfacing with Infrastructure/Networking/Services teams to ensure performance and availability of services.
