Remuneration:
R16500(NEGOTIABLE) + Vehicle Allowance R6580, 50% Medical, 50% Provident Fund, Group Life Cover, Cell Allowance, Fuelcard and 3G

Qualification:
• Equivalent qualification to N5 as a technician in light current equipment is a requirement including modules covering electronics.

Experience:
• Work in a production workshop as a technician down to component level on circuit board.
• Experience in the refrigeration field would be welcome as would any experience in metrology, aircraft maintenance, radar, television or any electronics related work.

Personality:
• The optimal age group will be 25 to 30 years old.
• Well organised.
• Self-motivated.
• Positive approach to life, commitment and high work ethic with huge drive.

Relationships:
• Liaison at all levels is a requirement.
• Internally will be dealing with directors, senior managers, managers, representatives, admin and distribution personnel.
• Will be dealing with existing clients at all levels.
• Establishing and developing relationships with the clients.
• Following up with the sales team to ensure that they contact the clients to secure the order number.

Responsibilities and tasks:
• To install and commission, repair, calibrate service and make service calls in the wider Gauteng region and into Africa. In addition you will train staff and clients.
• To maintain the products sold by the company to new and existing customers, accurately recording and processing related documents and records.
• Product and Technical Knowledge.
• Planning and Organisation.
• The candidate must be able to work under pressure, be dead line driven and be able to manage his time and productivity effectively.
• The candidate must be comfortable with regular travel into Africa and should have a South African passport and a valid driver’s license.
