Responsible for: Administrative & functional:
Total team of 10 to 15 Nationally
Liaising with: Internally:
Management, Finance, HR, Sales, but not limited to these
Externally:
End users of the Company’s equipment, Clinical Engineers and Technical Staff at Hospitals, but not limited to these

Position Description:
The purpose of this position is to ensure the performance of the After-Sales Service Support from the moment a customer receives the product, during the warranty period until end of life of the product. This requires the Service Manager to track install base and orders as well as forecast future parts supply needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following; other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
· Assume responsibility of Service department and managing a team of 10 to 15 people.
· Strong people management (drivers, call outs, stock, continuous development, co-travel, regional visits).
· Responsible for national Service Sales Target.
· Assessment Drive
· Contract implementation, execution and management
· Continuous motivation of team to overachieve
· Responsible for store and stock management at 4 centres nationally, including toolboxes, demo equipment and testing equipment.
· Collaboration between Sales, Marketing and Service Execution.
· Monthly dashboard.
· Continuous improve program.
· Responsible for service levels and SOPs with customers.
· Responsible for vehicle fleet.

Qualification (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

Qualifications
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Relevant Technical tertiary qualification will be an advantage

Requirements
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position (Sales with inventory management and fleet management, status reporting).
• Strong People manager
• Previous Accpac experience, Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate to Advanced Excel for detailed analysis)
• Out of the box ideas, common sense application, attention to detail, executor.
• Customer Service Orientated (Turnaround time of Call outs on break downs, assessment conversions, warranty assistance)
• Valid Code 08 driver’s license, own reliable vehicle for business travel purposes
• Ability to work independently, but within a team
• Excellent communication skills
