SERVICE/PROJECT ENGINEER
Boksburg (Akura)

Akura is an established engineering firm with its Head Office in Paarl, specialising in the manufacturing, trading and servicing of recycling and waste handling equipment.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the following duties at the company’s Johannesburg Branch:

? Project planning and execution
? Onsite: Maintenance and technical service management, equipment installations, commissioning and training
? Preparing technical documentation, standard works procedures and detailed job instructions
? Project and site risk assessments (OHSA compliance)
? Basic mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding
? Comply with budgets/costs and deadlines.

Requirements:

? National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (minimum)
? 3-5 Years’ practical experience in a similar role would be advantageous
? Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
? Multitasking and organizational skills
? Effective communication and inter¬personal aptitude
? Detail orientated
? Third party and client relationship management
? Project and team management skills
? Accountable and able to function independently
? Computer literacy: GoogleSuite, MS Suite, SolidWorks
? Own transport.
