Job Description:
Services Engineer

· Responsible for ensuring that primary services (electricity, water, steam, compressed air, refrigeration and waste water treatment) required for the operation of the plant are generated and supplied in line with the operational requirements of the company through the application of good manufacturing practices and preventative maintenance systems.

· Driving compliance of applicable legislative regulations to ensure safe functioning of equipment and work areas as well as adherence to environmental best practices.

· Management and development of the staff ensuring the employees are engaged with company objectives and have the required skill sets to operate and maintain these facilities

The candidate must have a BSc/B.Eng. degree
The successful candidate will have a 4 year mechanical/electrical engineering qualification and a GCC
10 Years’ experience at least 5 years’ experience in a management role leading technicians and plant operators ideally within the FMCG sector
The ability to implement best practices associated with the provision and maintenance of services to a manufacturing concern
Have a strong focus on leading people and ensuring their development is matched to the needs of the company.
Be able to identify and implement improvement opportunities to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness, reduce overhead expenses and positively impact on the environment
