A Company in Stellenbosch is looking for an experienced SHEQ Officer - MUST BE HANDS ON.

The SHEQ Officer will be accountable for overall Quality Control of mechanical manufactured products/solutions and OHS and Environment matters in the workshops.

Regrettably only Candidates who already reside in Cape Town or the surrounding area will be considered. (Please note that should you not have Mechanical Manufacturing experience you need not apply).

Must possess the following:
ISO 9001, ISO 140001, and ISO 18001 implementation and maintenance in the workplace/workshop of at least 3 years.
Experience in a Mechanical Manufacturing Industry - including Welding work (up to 15mm/20mm).
Must be energetic - not looking for an office worker, must be on the floor and be hands on.
Be a great communicator and have a friendly demeanour and be able to talk on all levels.
Must be able to work in a team setting and work independently! Will be working hand-in-hand with production and must be able to listen and understand restrictions and production flow!
Must have a great understanding of Mechanical Manufacturing, and the challenges it imposes.
Must be fully proficient in both Afrikaans and English, and to be able to communicate with Artisans and Entry Level personnel as well as with Top Management.
Must have a great track record in all aspects of SHEQ, if you do not have Quality then please do not apply.
