Our client, plant situated in Bellville, Cape Town, has an urgent vacancy for a Shift Millwright/Shift Electrician to start asap. Must be willing to work shifts (3 Shift system, overtime, public holiday’s and weekends

• Ensure full functionality of a plant machinery
• Ensure machinery is utilized to full capacity and in working order
• Plant maintenance
• Replacement and maintenance cost reduced i.r.o all machines assigned
• Ensure preventative & emergency maintenance as per job cards
• Rewiring of all electrical machinery
• Overhaul spare/old machinery
• Maintain & set-up of new machines
• Assist Production on daily maintenance orders
• Assist QA regarding audit requirements

Qualification/Experience
• Millwright/Electrician Trade Test essential
• Min 4 Years plant experience in a FMCG environment essential – Not negotiable
• Must be able to work in a plant for extended periods of time in a high temperature, high humidity environment
• Must be able to work in a workshop environment for extended periods of time (High noise)
• Must be willing to work shifts
• Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays on a rotational basis
• Previous experience on PLC’s
