Shipping clerk / Export Controller
N3 qualification or equivalent
Knowledge of customs and Excise act and procedures (certification an advantage)
5-7 years shipping experience with strong knowledge of exports into Africa
Knowledge of transport requirements – inbound / outbound / imports and exports
Arrange, control and schedule receipt and dispatch of goods
Keep accurate records
Prep documents for customers, forwarding agents and insurers.
Excellent work ethics and communication skills coupled with a strong customer focus
English language and communication essential
Active follow-up on freights
Respond to enquiries and complaints by means of phone, email or in person;
Ensure adequate internal communication with other departments
Excellent computer skills (excel advanced)
Valid Driver’s License
Own transportation
