Experienced Shipping Clerk required. Durban based.

Requirements:

• Matric
• Diploma/ Degree in Shipping, Logistics, Freight,
Maritime, Supply Chain, Operations or Transport
• 3-5 Years Relevant Shipping Experience in an FMCG
environment
• Computer Literacy - Excellent Excel required
• Payment & Recons experience
• Well-organized
• Friendly, hands on and professional
• Able to communicate with diverse people and with
different levels seniority
• Punctual , diligent and dependable at all times
• A critical, organized thinker with strong problem
solving skills
• Strong time planning skills

Duties:

• Liaise and Coordinate efforts on a daily basis to
track and monitor delivery status and movement of
goods for customers orders
• Receive and track supplies according to the
requirements of the operations department
• Perform inventory management activities to ensure
that adequate levels of supplies are maintained
• Prepare products for shipment, ensuring that both
packing and labelling duties are properly managed
• Create and validate product workflow from the point
of origin to the customer
• Organize the warehouse, maintain inventory and
order and stock supplies by coordinating efforts
with vendors and suppliers
• Provide agents with clearing instructions, and
supporting documents, prior to arrival
• Stock Intake
• Control Client Bookings and Quotations
• Shipping instructions
• Quotations
• Handle all logistics for road transport
• Reconciliations , Costing, GRN and Invoicing
