MINIMUM 10 years' direct experience in the discipline of traffic sign design and production of technical documentation.
Responsible for delivering sign planning, sign design and sign asset management programmes.
Advise the asset manager on how the signing asset is performing and how it is to be managed and assist in developing ongoing works programmes.
Engage with other Departments and external consultants/contractors on all signage matters.
Prepare advice, guidance and standards on signage matters.
Direct experience in the discipline of traffic signage design.
Experience in managing sign design projects.
Manage subordinates and provide mentoring where required.
Computer literate and conversant with MS Office, MS Excel and bespoke sign design and management software.
Ability to produce and lead in the production of documentation including specifications.
Familiar with international signing standards (TSRGD, AS1742, NZTCD) preferable.
Company will pay TAX FREE R660 000 (equivalent) package including basic, flights, relocation, accommodation, medical.
