SITE HR & ADMIN MANAGER – NORTHERN CAPE (Preferably EE)

Our International Client is a leader in the Renewable Energy industry based in Cape Town. They have an opportunity for a HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER to join their EPC Team in the Northern Cape on a Fix Term Contract of minimum 12 months.
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
• A recognised degree/diploma in HR Management
• Post grad diploma in IR - advantageous
• A minimum of 5- years’ experience within a project management environment
• A minimum of 3 years at a mid-Manager level
• Payroll Management experience
• Advanced level of PC literacy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritising of workload with attention to detail;
• A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning;
• Self-motivated with a willingness to accept responsibility and challenges;
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Duties & Responsibilities
• To provide a generalist HR service to the EPC Management
• To ensure legal compliance with all statutory legislation - BCEA, EE, LRA and Industrial Council etc
• Manage training budget via CETA
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14 001 and 18 001
• To ensure Policy and Procedure supports harmonious labour relations
• To act as first point of contact for the resolution of conflict and disputes in the workplace
• To represent the business at CCMA if required
• Manage the Performance review process.
• To ensure equity targets are met
• Provide Training and Development programs in line with business requirements.
• Ongoing and regular reporting to Cape Town Office
• Ensure close evaluation of all competitors and keep abreast of new business practices.
