A large multidisciplinary Construction company operating throughout South Africa, Africa and the Middle East is looking for suitably qualified Site Manager with a sound knowledge of Tailings Dams and who is prepared to travel when necessary.

This Company's Mining Tailings Operations Division is currently seeking a Site Manager for:

Day to day management of the hydraulic re-mining site at our DRD, Van Dyk operations.
Attendance of daily production meeting, with the client.
Record keeping of all activities on site.
Able to solve problems, independently, as they arise.

Job Functions:

Day to day running of re mining site – Manage staff, mining plan, daily production.
Attend daily client production meetings & Weekly safety meetings.
Upkeep of onsite SHEQ system.
Record keeping of all activities on site
Function independently and solve problems as and when it arises.

Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent.

Minimum two years of Supervisory experience on a re-mining site.
Minimum two years Site management experience on a re-mining site.
Knowledge of pumps stations and pumps will be an advantage.
