A Senior Application Support Specialist is wanted for a great opportunity in the Cape Town area. This position is within the financial services space. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in IT. • Unix / Sun certification will be preferable. • 3-5 years’ post qualification experience. • 2-3 years working experience in UNIX / Solaris script is mandatory. • Experience in supporting WebLogic applications. • Understanding of System Integration, interfaces, Batch scripts, day end batches are essential. • Expertise on PL/SQL. • Understanding of Sybase / Oracle databases. • Understanding of Unit trust business process will be preferable. • Expertise on Log analysis, problem identification and resolution. • Prior Experience on Sungard Application Suite (InvestOne, Decalog, Xamin,) is preferable *Please include your repository with your application.
